Editorial #327 Lost Ability to Trust

There is no such thing as kidding. There is always a bit of truth in any joke, humor or sarcasm.  That is what makes it funny.

The current state of society would be a joke if it were not so perilous. Government rhetoric, actions and policies are lacking any logic or respect for Americans.  They ignore their impact on businesses, waste tax dollars, deny personal health care decisions and disregard the rule of law not to mention our Constitution.

Editorial #326 “Things Never Change” aired on October 7, 2021

Editorial #326 Things Never Change

Things really never change. The platitudes: “The only constant in life is change.” “Nothing is certain but death and taxes” and “Ignorance is bliss” are all feeble attempts to make sense of the lunacy we see today. These platitudes are false as power brokers have always used these same tactics to control society. The saying, “Things have never been worse!” is also false as world history is replete with many more depraved examples of propaganda,

Editorial #325 Perfecting the Question

There is a tactic called “Perfecting the question” used very little, or even considered, in debates.

There is an old saying: “You cannot give a correct answer to a wrong question.”  It is similar to the tactic of giving someone a false choice, purposely leaving out another alternative that is not supported by the questioner.

Propaganda is the promotion of any view advancing a particular agenda.

Editorial #324 “The Demand for Systemic Racism” aired on September 30, 2021

Editorial #324 The Demand for Systemic Racism

We are seeing one of the world’s oldest political tactics being blatantly perpetrated by authorities we trusted. It is caused by the deep state fabricating problems to scare us into letting government control us.  Deep state politicians, media, academia and news venues are constantly preaching propaganda to steer ignorant citizens toward subjugation and surrender.  Without these fabricated problems to control us, the deep state has no power or a reasons to exist.

Editorial #323 “What is a Job?” aired on September 28, 2021

Editorial #323 What is a job?

Covid-19 has forced a new reality into existence that most economists figured would not come for another generation.  Terms like, ‘working from home’, ‘telecommuting’, ‘gig-economy’ and ‘zoom meetings’ are part of the vernacular considered the ‘new normal’.  It re-made old habits and business models forcing the world, kicking and screaming, into a totally different way of getting things done.

Old paradigms have been revisited: “What is the purpose of life?” “What is the reason for our existence?”  It renewed the focus of a universal fact: “If one is not part of the solution,

Editorial #322 “Why Do We Need New Laws?” aired on September 23, 2021

Editorial #322 Why do We Need New Laws?

Politicians and bureaucrats seem to have the impression their function is to make new laws to fix things.  If the Ten Commandments were used as the moral compass for justice, no other laws would be needed.

Another overlooked point is; making laws is easy, the enforcement of those laws is the problem.  Making more laws to fix failures in existing laws only exacerbates the lack of enforcement of laws already on the books.

Editorial #320 “What is Respect for Authority?” aired on September 21, 2021

Editorial #320 What is Respect for Authority?

We live in a world where we are supposed to be responsible for our own actions.  We have been blessed in this country with the liberty to observe the Ten Commandments and live by the Golden Rule with God the only real authority.  Our system of government is supposed to be compatible with those God given commandments.  The authority to enforce our laws is stated in Our Constitution to be a government “of the people,

Editorial #321 “The Grass is Always Greener” aired on September 16, 2021

Editorial #321 The Grass is Always Greener

The phrase “The grass is always greener” defines a fundamental drive to constantly look for better options.  There is nothing to live for if one does not strive to improve their station in life.  It has been said that happiness consists of three things: Something to do, someone to love and something to look forward to.

Ironically, anyone who is ambitious, hardworking and striving for more in life is often impugned as being ruthless,

Editorial #319 Did 9/11 Teach Us Anything?

We all know where we were on September 11, 2001.  It was another day that lives in infamy just like November 22, 1963 and December 7, 1941.  But what is the infamy that we are supposed to remember?

No one can forget where they were, if they were alive, on those days.  We were suddenly thrust into a surreal world that was unbelievable and too incredible to think these sorts of things could happen,

Editorial #318 Did This Really Help?

Incredible as the year 2020 was with the pandemic, climate change, the election results, discrimination, poverty and the rampant government spending, 2021 is on track to rival it. This fake reality is being shoved in our face, saying things will get worse if we don’t spend more to confront these threats that many see as contrived.

Where did the trillions of dollars to address these concerns go?
