Editorial #327 Lost Ability to Trust

There is no such thing as kidding. There is always a bit of truth in any joke, humor or sarcasm.  That is what makes it funny.

The current state of society would be a joke if it were not so perilous. Government rhetoric, actions and policies are lacking any logic or respect for Americans.  They ignore their impact on businesses, waste tax dollars, deny personal health care decisions and disregard the rule of law not to mention our Constitution.

Any trust they had was lost in those who consistently make decisions that violate the laws of physics, science, economics and inherent human rights.  To expect society to accept dysfunctional acts by a non-representative and increasingly tyrannical government is an insult.   Basic understanding of economics says that government spending costs real money.  To say the $3 Trillion spending package will cost “ZERO” makes as much sense as saying money grows on trees and all you have to do is pluck it from the branch.

To arrest parents for questioning the validity of school board polices that incite division and race hatred, like critical race theory or biological reorientation programs, is a violation of trust and the first amendment.  Elected school board officials, pushing this perversion without parental consent, are engaging in a form of kidnapping and brainwashing not to mention child abuse. Caring, responsible parents have an obligation to forbid such ideas be forced on their children. To have them arrested is typical of totalitarian regimes like Nazi Germany, Red China, North Korea and the Islamist Middle East State.

Trust is earned, never demanded.  What our present day bureaucracy is advocating is untrustworthy and must be opposed and defeated.  Nothing done in the handling of these largely manufactured crises like the pandemic, discrimination, racism, man-made climate change, government spending, Afghanistan, election reform or the economy has reduced the impact and damage from these issues.  In most cases, doing nothing would have been the better course of action.

This country was built on trust, personal responsibility, local cooperation and support, hard work and self-reliance.  It has become impossible to give any trust to decision makers who are destroying our reputation, integrity and credibility with our allies and enemies alike. They are alienating our allies while subsidizing and enabling our enemies.

Wisdom and trust are our examples to a world that craves a peaceful, responsible future.  American values are being ignored by those who want to remove all signs of American exceptionalism.  Our enemies are constantly prowling for weaknesses to exploit, silence and intimidate with the ultimate goal to remove all God Fearing patriots who still trust that our country is “One nation under God, with liberty and justice for all”.

This is Keith Kube wishing you the best in making the world a better place.
