Editorial #326 Things Never Change
Things really never change. The platitudes: “The only constant in life is change.” “Nothing is certain but death and taxes” and “Ignorance is bliss” are all feeble attempts to make sense of the lunacy we see today. These platitudes are false as power brokers have always used these same tactics to control society. The saying, “Things have never been worse!” is also false as world history is replete with many more depraved examples of propaganda, violence and corruption to frighten and intimidate society into submission.
Hindsight exposes how the deep state protects itself by accusing others of all the things of which they are guilty: Racism, Sexism, Discrimination, Hypocrisy and Corruption along with human trafficking and slavery, not to mention using the Military Industrial Complex for profit, fighting fabricated wars.
Government bureaucracies and the media have lulled society into apathy by using these tactics, which they always deny. Ignorance is NOT bliss as apathy and denial is destroying any hope for society to work for better outcomes.
The belief that “right will prevail” IS still true, but the culture of evil is moving faster than the culture of good to stop it. Technology is used to spread propaganda to enforce evil. Ironically, technology also slows down individual efforts to combat evil. The powerful are able to deliver their message instantly while stifling any competition. Social media and network news use the same business model that robber barons used over history to garnered power to crush opposition.
A handful of media moguls owning newspapers, movies studios, radio and television stations now control the internet as well, sneaking a socialist, new world order agenda into our country with the belief they are entitled to reign. They thrive on the journalist mantra, “If it bleeds, it leads.” to distract us by twisting facts to validate their false narrative by discrediting the truth.
Free speech is a constitutional right, regardless if is right or wrong. This constitutional right is used to weaken and exploit our core values with blatant twisting of the truth that has become the actual goal of journalism.
Our Country’s foundation of fiercely defending truth, justice and the American way was nearly invincible. Now we see lies and power grabs crippling our ability to discern and respond to these dangers.
There will always be overachievers who will use their hyper-drive to grab and maintain power. Non-capitalistic countries nationalize their media with North Korea, Nazi Germany, Russia and China, all borrowing pages out of the ‘Dictator’s Handbook’ to gain power. All countries, governments and most business empires grew out of this global battle between good and evil.
Things never change! The only way to win this age old battle between good and evil is to live by the golden rule and the 10 Commandments with the understanding that only God gives us power, by using our free will, to do the right thing. But we must have the firm belief that “Right Will Prevail !”.
