Editorial #348 The Irony of Contradictions
This Covid pandemic has fueled the increasing divided in our country using a plethora of contradictions with both sides convinced they are in the right. This is the classic war tactic of “Divide and Conquer”
Both sides can’t be right! Which option will save more lives? Which option follows our core values of truth, fairness, sustainability and integrity? Which side is more altruistic, expressing more respect for life and human dignity?
One side wants everyone to be vaccinated, fearing someone will give them Covid-19. They are typically pro-choice with slogans like “women will die” if they can’t get an abortion. Their only concerns seems to be selfish, interested in protecting their life at the expense of others. Their agenda requires human intervention procedures that interrupts natural herd immunity, the lives of unborn babies and violates laws of physics and biology.
The other side wants the shot to a choice, weighing the risk if it will compromised their immunity system against normal infections that are usually harmless. Their concern is more about protecting others. They do not want people to risk their immunity system to protect against a virus that has a 99% survival rate. They also want to stop 600.000 babies from being murdered each year.
Which side is more right as nothing is perfect?
Is it the side who wants to save the lives of the unborn and not expose people to medicine that can give symptoms similar to AIDS and is causing an abnormal rate of stillborn births?
Or is it the side that mandates we violate our personal ‘body sovereignty’ while declaring “it is my body, my choice” to justify abortion, gender fluidity and revised sex education standards.
One side demands we ignore the science that shows life begins at conception and there are only two sexes. They recharacterize abortion as health care with pregnancy classified a disease treatable by eliminating a “non-viable tissue mass”. Those same ‘deep thinkers’ would call it one of the greatest discoveries of all time if a single cell of was found in a rock sample from Mars.
Other examples of contradictions are when the liberal policies tolerate “no bail”, “no borders”, “catch and release”, “riots” and “smash and grab” along with massive social programs that never solve problems, usually making them worse. They justify reparations and abortion by ignoring the age old law “you cannot punish the son for the sins of the father.”
That same side ignores human rights violations in China, who enslave Uyghurs to build solar collectors and mine rare earth elements used to make equipment trying to stop global warming. These slaves are ignored because it advances their agenda of stopping climate change. For whom are they trying to save the planet? It apparently isn’t for the Uyghurs!
All these examples of flawed logic and contradictions are threatening our country’s ability to win this war based on deception. We must pray we can have the courage to recognize and expose these contradiction so we can restore our country to be: “One Nation, Under God, Indivisible with Liberty and Justice for All.”
