Exampleship
Since the dawn of man, world history has evolved by an alpha male type leaders conquering their neighbors, justified taking their land and possessions by declaring, “I took it from you fair and square”. We can’t undo history but the facts are these wars happened and can’t be undone. The irony is after these wars the leader would then declared, just like Rodney King,“Now let’s With the current unrest we see in our Country and the various movements that are affecting our lives, there is a greater need, than ever, fora unifying movement to counteract these evils.
The contrast between good and evil is a fact of life and has always existed since the dawn of civilization. We can’t have up without knowing what down is, can’t have hot without knowing cold and we can’t have peace without knowing what war is…..these differences must exist and our job in life isto make the world a better place by having us all work to make the world a more peaceful and harmonious. If we don’t,individually, try to do this, we become part of the problem and not part of the solution.

With the past not changeable, all we can do is try to keep peace and harmony by trying to get along with each other. This requires a common objective with the expectation of our government taking care of all of us, not acceptable in a free society. If we have the government do everything for us, we can live in the freest country in the world and we will always be a slave to that government.
The missing ingredient is not leadership. We can’t have someone who calls himself a leader ordering us around in a democracy. Our politicians are not leaders. They are supposed to be the example setter of how to live our lives. It is not having someone take us by the hand and coddling us throughout our lives, protecting us from all the problems in the world. The missing ingredient is“exampleship”. The truly great leaders in the world and in business leave examples of systems and methods that will continue to run long after they are gone. If they do not do this, they failed as any sort of leader as they did not set a good example.
Exampleship is what the world sees in each of us and not the old saying “do as I say and not as I do”. It is our actions that are seen, answering the question: “If everyone was doing what I am doing would the world be abetter place?” If the answer is yes,keep doing what you are doing making sure everything we do does not violate our core values of fairness, truth, sustainability and integrity.
Our mission in life is to have these movements be unifying, with everyone doing their part, gathering behindthese core values and not expect a government to take care of us from the cradle to the grave.
