Editorial #271 What is the Point?

The policies, executive orders and legislation coming from Washington are illogical at best and exemplify Einstein’s definition of insanity: doing the same thing over again, expecting a different result.

Illogical, unproven and counterintuitive policies regarding voter ID, border security, using racism to solve racism, labeling abortion as health care, inflicting sex education on children along with teaching sexually to immature adolescents are being shoved down our throat by these “enlightened elites”. Their prescription for mental health is to redefine marriage so it is more abstract than a Picasso and destroying centuries of evidence that children thrive best in a home with a mother and a father.

No society has been made more prosperous after any government permitted such blatant violations of our core values. There is overwhelming evidence showing when a government takes steps to reverse centuries of respect for human life by devaluing humanity to a commodity, has only made matters worse. This impugns any examples of role models displaying “normal” family values.

All these perverted ideologies are anything but beneficial and benevolent. Poverty is not relieved by enabling dependency and discouraging ambition. It is not compassionate but undignified. It epitomizes the bigotry of low expectations. It is not “Christ like” to advocate policies that enslaves a gullible citizenry groomed to be programmable, interchangeable, expendable, groveling for handouts and expected to perform on command from pompous false gods. This is found only in a dying society.

When public schools to teach alternative life styles and dysfunctional behavior, it detracts from the real purpose of K-12 education: to make citizens who are self-reliant, honorable, astute, discerning, industrious and capable of independently solving problems.

If a student does not learn these skills and is not able to repeat or teach others what they learned, they should not graduate. If they receive a diploma without being able to recite these values, their diploma is only a participation trophy allowing them to feel entitled, with no ambition to be anything more than a drag on their community.

Historically, the objective of education was to foster a drive to make the world a better place.
Now, the objective appears to dumb down the next generation, to be more subservient subjects of unquestioning fools, ripe for exploitation and extortion.

What possible good comes from substituting learning to be curious, self-reliance, innovation and have a hunger for truth, justice, family and community values with faith and integrity? These life skill are vital along with reading comprehension and analysis, problem solving, math, physics chemistry and biology.

What is the point? What is the deep state trying to accomplish? Why is so much energy, time and money put into supporting that which has always moved society away from our fundamental core values of fairness, truth, and sustainability?

It is to acquire more power and money spurred by hubris and greed. This is the oldest dance in the world, choreographed by the forces of evil, drawing those who find themselves waltzing on road to Hell. It is because a society armed with integrity, makes is impossible for this hypocrisy to take root.

This is Keith Kube wishing you the best in making the world a better place.
